

In March 2024, over 2 million food bank visits were made in a single month across Canada.
In B.C. alone, visits have surged over 80% since 2019.
Whole families including children and seniors are going hungry, and even people with full-time employment have reported their need to visit food banks.
We are working to change this.
The Feeding Futures Fundraiser is our immediate response to a crisis that’s only getting worse. While we prepare to relaunch our signature networking events in 2026, we’re running this campaign to Make Life Better by tackling food insecurity head-on. Every dollar you give goes directly toward feeding families today and building stronger communities tomorrow.

How is my donation used?

80% goes straight to the current phase's food-bank to purchase and distribute food.

20% covers campaign and administration costs (payment-processing fees, marketing, staff/contractor time) and is reinvested into Make Life Better Events Inc. to fund future community-building initiatives.

Will I receive a tax receipt?

Individual Donors:
No. We’re not a registered charity, meaning we can’t issue CRA donation receipts. Many supporters give because they want to see a real impact in their communities and help families in need. -
Business Sponsors:
While sponsorships don’t generate CRA charitable receipts, your sponsorship agreement and invoice from Make Life Better Events Inc. serve as deductible business-expense documentation.
